Stone Age Visit
Year 3 have been learning all about the Stone Age in History this half term. On Tuesday 5th March, year 3 had a visit from archeologist Dr John Hill who taught us all about how humans changed from the Paleolithic Period to the Bronze Age.
Dr Hill brought in genuine stone age artefacts (including a woolly rhino bone and a woolly mammoth bone!) , which the children were able to handle and explore. This was such a fantastic experience to get hands on with real historical artefacts, normally seen behind glass in a museum. Year 3 loved our afternoon with Dr Hill and found out so many interesting facts!
