Tree planting in the community
On Thursday 14th March, a group of children from year 3 and year 4 went to Cowper Way amenity space to plant trees with Knowsley Council. Children were able to plant a variety of different trees and learn about how trees look after both the local wildlife and us. The children had a fantastic morning and we loved being able to help the local community, as part of Knowsley Council's 2023-2025 Woodland Creation Project, funded by Mersey Forest.
We can't wait to see how these trees grow over the next few years!
