Year 3 Library Visit - World Book Day
On Wednesday 13th March, Year 3 went to Huyton library for a world book day visit. Children met the librarians Daisy and Gerry who taught them all about how to find books they might like in the library. We played a fun quiz to guess books from their first sentence - amazingly Year 3 guessed them all correctly! Wow!
Children then had time to explore the library and make character inspired paper hats. At the end of our session children were able to choose a world book day novel to take home. In June, we will be heading back to the library to meet author Guy Bass who will be reading to the children.
